Google’s CEO recently joined Apple’s board of directors, and I can only hope that the move signals some upcoming Apple/Google partnerships. One thing I would really like to see is Google Calendar sync within iCal. I know you can add web feeds to iCal, but events can’t be added or edited, and have to be [...]

Google just launched a re-design of their Google Reader web application, and I can now say that I like it. It’s really very good! In the past, my main complaint about Google Reader was it’s scrolling interface, which grouped all feeds into one view. I also like the keboard shortcuts, as well as the neat [...]

I think Google can either read my mind, or reads my blog. I’ve been thinking for a while now about how Google needs a “Google Pictures” site – a Google version of Yahoo’s Flickr or the new Yahoo Photos. And, just yesterday, I wrote about how I feel most of what Google is doing these [...]

I’ve been using Gmail hosted (Gmail for my domain) for a while now, and have noticed a few areas where Gmail seems destined to fall behind it’s forthcoming rivals, MS’s Windows Live Mail (upgraded hotmail) and Yahoo Mail, which I have both used. In fact, both have really surprised me, and I’m beginning to like [...]

First, the positives: It's fast, and has integration with Blogger and Gmail. That's about it. In an attempt to make it as simple for the [...]

I have a few suggestions for Google about their Gmail service:
First off, Id like to be able to use Gmail as a fully functional web-email client. That would mean you would be able to retrieve other email accounts via POP or IMAP into Gmail. This would be in addition, of course, to your Gmail email [...]

Its a sad, sad day, at least in my opinion! Google has entered the video purchase/download business, and is officially the biggest competitor to Apples iTunes for TV show purchases. Google was one of my favorite tech companies, one that always delivered innovation to the consumer, using open source and free products. Google always seemed [...]

What will the future hold for Google? Thats anyones guess. But, as one of my favorite tech companies, and a real innovator when it comes to creating Web 2.0 apps. (can anyone say Gmail?), I certainly have my own not so little wish list.
The major thing Id like to see come out of the Googleplex [...]

So, earlier today Google and Sun Microsystems entered into multi-year partnership. I'm not sure exactly what this entails, but it is my understanding that it included cross-distributuion of the Google Toolbar, Sun Office, and Java. As it lies now, I'm not sure how this helps Google that much (Sun yes), which is why I think [...]
